...le broadway show ! (a los angeles...)

Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas, RENT est une comedie musicale creee et qui se passe au debut des annees 90, a l'epoque ou sevit le froid, la faim et le Sida. (deja, pas trop les themes classiques de la comedie musicale) On y suit une bande de 'jeunes' sur un an, pour la plupart artistes mais en tout cas tous marginaux, qui tentent de survivre en defendant leurs ideaux moraux en depit des pressions etatesques (loyer, factures, loyer, factures, loyer, factures...) et logistiques (quand ton corps a faim il faut le nourrir, quand ton corps a mal il faut le soigner...)

Tout a commence il y a quelques mois j'ai decouvert Rent, le film. Forcement, ce n'est pas aussi bien que la comedie musicale sur scene, parce qu'il n'y a pas l'energie du live, et que le metteur en scene avait trouve des idees vraiment interessantes et stimulantes pour organiser toutes ces histoires, mais si vous aimez les comedies musicales, ca vaut quand meme le detour. La grande majorite des chansons sont la, et quasiment l'integralite de l'equipe de la premiere tournee qui est excellente.

Profitant de l'effet Stieg Larssonien  de la mort du metteur en scene la veille de la premiere, la comedie musicale n'a cesse de grandir, grandir, grandir, et pendant 12 ans a ete un succes. (Parce que, comme pour Millenium, il ne suffisait pas de mourir, fallait aussi que ce soit bien...). Rent est actuellement en train de faire sa derniere tournee nationale, avec deux membres du cast initial sur scene.

Bon voila, c'est un peu confus, mais au final je dirai que meme moi qui ne suit pas vraiment fan des gens qui racontent qu'ils veulent aller faire caca en chantant, j'ai aime et le film, et le spectacle! Et puis, pour vous donner une idee de l'ambiance, une des chansons que j'aime bien et qu'on devrait garder en tete, La Vie Boheme.

  Ah oui, et comme c'est pas forcement facile a comprendren du premier coup, ci joint les paroles...

It's funny how... Je viens de m'acheter le DVD!! Je me rappellais l'avoir vaguement vu quand j'étais plus jeune et depuis je le cherchais sans me souvenir du titre! Moi être grande mais alors vraiment grande fan de comédies musicales!!!
